Even without knowing how to direct your students in Japanese during your lessons, you can say names of colors to imply what you want him/her to do.
Also, even outside of your lessons, you may find it interesting to learn basic names of colors in Japanese.

Note that sometimes you have to make a little adjustment on those nouns we just learned.

As you can see here, words that end with an i tend to have “no” at the end when they become adjectives, while the others require only “i” at the end.

The theme color of weblio is orange.

He has black eyes.

Clouds are white.
あ雲は白い。
